Think back to a clinical practice experience where you demonstrated safe and effective delegation and management while providing patient care. What, where, and who- the situation: Describe a situation where things went well or wrong What happened? How did it make you feel- your emotional state Did the situation make you feel good or worse about being a nurse? Why? Why did it happen- making sense of the situation Did the situation go well or was there room for improvement?Could you have done anything differently-  critical review and development of insight Why did it happen— making sense of the situation Is there anything you could have done to improve the situation?Is there anything you did that was important in the situation? What will you do differently in the future- how will this change your practice What knowledge, skills, and/or attitude would you need to better manage a situation like this?
