I recently heard about a family member who underwent refractive surgery to correct her vision. The surgery didn’t work and she continues to use glasses and now actually has other eye problems. There are many people who are not candidates for this type of surgery, but they are sometimes not informed of this. What are the contraindications for this type of surgery?
